For over 20 years, Chatham has been a leader in graduate education in Pittsburgh. Our graduates in the fields of health & wellness, sustainability, business & communications and arts & sciences have gone on to change their fields and communities for the better. Attending a Graduate Open House was the first step for many of them, but here are four more reasons why you should attend our Graduate Open House:
A GRAD DEGREE IS STILL A GREAT INVESTMENT
Be prepared for our changing economy. Over the next 10 years, jobs requiring a graduate degree are expected to grow by nearly 15%. Salaries typical of graduate degree-required employment are expected to experience the fastest growth over the next decade, too. Plus, fields with the highest projected growth—health and sustainability—are Chatham areas of academic excellence.
98% PLACEMENT RATE FOR GRADUATES
For every 50 alumni of Chatham graduate programs, 49 are employed or are accepted to PhD or other graduate programs within six months of graduation. This is evidence of the high quality of our students and the experience and education our graduate students receive across our programs.
The Chatham University graduate outcomes survey is conducted in accordance with Best Practices outlined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers. The Margin of Error for 2016 graduates is +/- 5%.
HELP TO FUND YOUR GRADUATE DEGREE
Gain experience while lightening your load. In addition to a number of student employment positions across campus available to graduate students, Chatham offers a range of assistantships across a variety of disciplines to help defray your costs. STUDY IN THE #1 GRAD FRIENDLY MARKET
Attend grad school in the same place where competitive work opportunities await. Pittsburgh's been on a number of "Best Of" lists for a variety of reasons, but the research conducted by Trulia + LinkedIn finding our city to be the nation's most grad-friendly market should be very appealing to students.
