District: PA-158

Party Affiliation: Democrat

Christina D. Sappey

Christina Sappey has 12 years of bi-partisan government and business experience to apply to the state legislator. She has previously worked with former State Representative Barbara McIlvaine Smith, State Senator Andy Dinniman, and State Representative Carolyn Comitta. Sappey has a reputation of being a compassionate moderate, and is known to listen and work collaboratively with others to create practical solutions. Her biggest legislative priority is an adequate budget that ensures proper funding and implementation of programs for education and environmental conservation. Christina’s experience stretches beyond the public sector and into the business realm. She has managed businesses ranging from small family-owned retail spaces, to nation-wide fashion corporations. This means she understands the business mindset, and can translate this into sparking sustained economic growth in her Chester County. Within her community, Sappey has volunteered with her church and at her children’s public schools; she was even one of several residents who founded the Marshallton Conservation Trust, a non-profit organization.
