Representative Kathy Rapp has vast experience in the public and private sector which adds necessary diversity to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. During her tenure she has consistently advocated for pro-life legislation and proved herself to be a strong ally of veterans and active duty military personnel. She has passed legislation to eliminate veterans’ disability payments from income eligibility requirements under the Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program. Rapp is also a sponsor of the Pennsylvania Open Workforce Initiative to ensure working citizens have the freedom to join or support unions. Before her election to the General Assembly, Rapp was heavily involved in the health and human services field, serving as a community relations representative with Beverly Health Care, where she managed admissions and marketing for two health care facilities in Warren.
