District: PA-68

Party Affiliation: Democrat

Carrie Heath

Carrie Heath is a teacher, wife, step-mom, union member, and Tioga County native running for the 68th District in the PA House of Representatives. Heath has deep connections to and support for the Patrons of Husbandry (The Grange) and their work supporting rural communities and farmers through service, education, legislation, and fellowship. She continues to believe the spirit of the Grange is alive and widespread in the district since there is a lot of support for hard-nosed, commonsense solutions from local people to protect and benefit the community. Currently, she is a teacher at Wellsboro High School. Her other leadership positions include Friends of the Green Free Library, Wellsboro Art Club, Mary Wells Chapter #452 Order of the Eastern Star, and Tioga County Indivisible. Heath helped with the creation of a Career and Technical Education Center in her District to provide vocational training, increased infrastructure investment, and comprehensive solutions for addiction, depression, and domestic abuse.
