BIOGRAPHY

Professor Roberts is an interior designer and educator who joined the IAR program in 2019. She is NCIDQ certified, a LEED Green Associate, and a certified interior designer in the state of New Jersey. Before moving to academia, she spent over 25 years as the Director of Interior Architecture where she won numerous local and AIA design awards. She is passionate about architecture and its ability to transform lives and communities. She has published several books and articles on holistic integrated sustainable design and is currently working on a Healthcare Studio Textbook. She is also the founder and principal consultant at SH Roberts Sustainable Architectural Consulting, a firm focusing on bridging the gap between traditional aesthetics and restorative, comprehensive, integral sustainable design.
