Kathleen Weissberg


Dr. Weissberg received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Occupational Therapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York. She earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Chatham University. She has worked in a variety of practice settings including skilled nursing, outpatient, and inpatient rehabilitation. Her primary areas of interest include dementia management, evidence-based falls interventions for seniors, aquatic therapy, and treatment of urinary incontinence. Dr. Weissberg has presented nationally on topics of dementia, palliative care, addressing reimbursement challenges, and Medicare documentation and billing. In addition to adjunct teaching at Chatham, she acts as Education Director with Select Rehabilitation, Inc. where she oversees continued competency and provides online clinical education for over 6000 full-time therapists.
