Anti-Hazing Report

Hazing at Chatham University is considered a violation of the University’s Anti-Hazing Policy and the Student Honor Code, and is prohibited. Hazing may also be considered a criminal act in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

In accordance with the new Pennsylvania Timothy J. Piazza Antihazing Law (see 18 P.S.A. section 2801 et. seq), Chatham University has updated its definition of hazing and will provide a five year report of all alleged hazing incidents.  

There have been no hazing incidents at Chatham University reported in academic years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.      

Students and others are encouraged to report incidents, and suspected incidents, of hazing. Reports may be made to the Chatham Public Safety at 412-365-1230 or the Office of Student Affairs at 412-365-1286.
