Daily Health Screenings

Read on for what you need to know about daily campus health screenings.

Health Screening How-To:

There are now (as of October 29) two options for health screenings:

  • a convenient new “at-home” model using the ChathamU app
  • in-person screenings (at limited locations) for those without the app, including visitors to campus

From October 29 through November 6, all in-person health screening locations will be running as we transition to the new system. In-person locations and options will be reduced after November 6. We are encouraging all students and employees to utilize the app-based screening method.

App-based screenings:

  1. If you don’t already have the ChathamU app, download it from Google Play or from the Apple App Store.
  2. Log in using your Chatham credentials. First-time users will complete a welcome survey.
  3. On the Home Screen, you will find an icon at the top that says Daily Health Screen.
  4. Complete the Health Screen each day you will be physically present on campus.
  5. Your pass will be available in the app (tap on Health Screen) and also emailed to you.
  6. You will need to show the pass any time it is requested, including where the pass is required for entrance in the AFC, Anderson Dining Hall, and JKM Library.
  7. If you are not cleared for the day, instructions will be provided.

As part of the at-home health screening, you will be asked a series of questions and to provide your temperature. If you don’t have a thermometer, you can pick one up at the Daily Health Screen Stations thru November 6, or at Student Health Services throughout the semester.

In-person screenings:

We will continue to run an in-person health screening location at the Athletic and Fitness Center and The Office of Admissions (Berry Hall) for Shadyside campus visitors and those without access to the app.

In-person screenings for visitors will be available from Campus Security at Chatham Eastside and Eden Hall Campus.
