Health & Safety Protocols

Chatham takes your health very seriously, and that’s why we’ve implemented some protocols and requirements to help keep you safe.

Health & Safety Protocols

To protect the health of each other, everyone on campus this fall should:

  1. Wear a mask inside campus buildings and outside if physical distancing cannot be maintained.
  2. Maintain physical distance (~ 6 feet) from others whenever possible.
  3. Receive a temperature check and answer a series of health questions every day before engaging in activity on campus or entering any buildings on campus.
  4. Wash or sanitize hands prior to entering and when leaving classrooms, residence halls or offices.
  5. Wipe down (with provided disinfecting wipes) office or classroom surfaces prior to use.
  6. Stay home if feeling sick, no matter how mild (or whatever) the symptoms.
  7. Stay home (and follow contact tracing directions) if exposed to someone with a positive COVID test.
  8. Follow any other location, department or program-specific protocols and procedures.

These protocols and requirements may be subject to change based on updated health guidelines and the status of campus operations.
