Vaccine Requirement for 21-22 Term

To combat COVID-19, a number of vaccines have been shown, through clinical trials and additional studies on real-world use, to be safe and highly effective at reducing illness and the spread of the virus.

Based on the success of the vaccines and to protect our community, Chatham will require COVID-19 vaccinations for all students participating in face-to-face classes or campus activities and for all faculty and staff for the 2021-2022 academic term.

Chatham will allow students and employees with a valid medical, religious or other reason consistent under federal and state law, to apply for an exemption. Anyone not vaccinated will be subject to additional health and safety protocols during the year.

Students and employees must upload proof of COVID vaccination or waiver request to Med Proctor by August 1, 2021 for fall term. Students who upload their records by July 1 will be eligible for a gift of 25 Cougar Dollars, and employees who upload their records by August 1 will receive 200 Take A Healthy Step Points.
