Workshop: Guide to Starting and Scaling Your Business - In-Person
The SBA Pittsburgh District Office is teaming with CWE to offer an in-person workshop on how to turn your passion or idea into a viable small business. Speakers include Carolyn Klasnick, Partner & Executive Producer at Post Script Productions LLC, a video production company established in 2010. Carolyn will share how she scripted an award-winning niche for her services that include everything from makeup to production to editing informative and celebratory videos throughout western Pennsylvania. CWE’s Community and Membership Engagement Coordinator Michelle Price will discuss the Center’s programs and services to help entrepreneurs launch and scale their businesses. SBA Lender Relations Specialist Lynn Ann Vozniak will speak on the SBA’s three traditional lending programs and how to effectively articulate your funding needs to any lender by using the different elements in the SBA’s Lender Match Program. SBA Microlenders from the region also will be present to meet with attendees. Microloans are an SBA program that provides loans, up to $50,000, through nonprofit intermediaries to business owners.
