ServSafe is a food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the U.S. National Restaurant Association. The ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)-Conference for Food Protection (CFP), which is valid for five years, and recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

ServSafe is the industry standard in food safety training and provides all employees with accurate and up-to-date information on all aspects of food safety and handling, from receiving and storing food, to food preparing and serving.

Join the Center for Regional Agriculture and Food Transformation (CRAFT) and the Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship (CWE) at Chatham University for a two-day, 16-hour live training class to gain the industry recognized certification with a certified trainer. The live training class will consist of 8 hours of instruction each day, with participants taking the online exam at the end of the second day of training.

Topics covered include:
- Preventing cross-contamination
- Cleaning and sanitizing
- Food safety regulations
- Time and temperature control
- Safe food preparation

Dates: Saturday July 10th & Sunday July 11th, 2021
Times: 9:00AM to 5:30PM each day (break for lunch provided)
Fee: $35 (incudes ServSafe® Manager Certification Two Day Live Training Class and Online Exam Access Code)
