Charlie E. A. Borowicz, MPH, MSW will present for 45 minuets with time for Q & A.
Charlie Borowicz is the transgender health project manager for Allegheny Health Network through the Center for Inclusion Health. They coordinate trainings and education around gender minority health issues, provide care navigation and advocacy for staff and patients, and collaborate with other agencies to enhance transgender affirming healthcare. Charlie serves as liaison to the PA Transgender Health Workgroup and the Tri-State Gender Collaborative.

The following learning objectives will be covered:
•Identify basic terminology to describe the transgender community
•Describe medical disparities faced by the transgender community
•Explain ways to incorporate trans-affirming behaviors into your practice

1 Continuing Education Credit/Professional development Credit will be offered for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant, Social Work, and Psychology.
