Dialogues: Kaveh Akbar and Jaquira Diaz

On Thursday, February 6th, at 7:00 p.m, the City of Asylum and the Chatham University MFA in Creative Writing Program will present Dialogues, with featured authors Kaveh Akbar and Jaquira Díaz. The event will take place at City of Asylum: 40 W. North Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15212. Dialogues is an annual reading series presented by the Chatham University MFA in Creative Writing Program. This event follows Dialogues: the Language of Change, Dialogues: Writers on Disabilities and Inclusion and Dialogues: Turning South. This event is made possible by a grant generously awarded from the National Endowment for the Arts. As part of their time at Chatham, Akbar and Díaz will visit Sojourner House to engage with writers at that facility. The event is free and open to the public.
