Info for Campus Visitors

We are pleased to welcome our visitors back to Chatham University with campus visits and tours resuming July 20th!

Whether taking a tour or meeting someone on campus, we take the health and safety of our visitors very seriously, and we ask that all visitors adhere to these protocols and requirements.

These protocols and requirements are based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Health (PDH), Governor Wolf's Green Phase Reopening Order and successful measures Chatham implemented over the past few months for employees providing campus services.

They include:

  • All meetings or visits require an appointment
  • All visitors will need to receive a health screening (including temperature check).
  • A mask or face covering is required inside and outside (when physical distancing not possible).
  • Physical distancing of at least six feet apart from others must be followed.

Procedure for Daily Health Screenings

As a recommended mitigation strategy for COVID-19, campus visitors must receive a temperature check and answer a series of health questions before their campus visit or meeting. This is a non-invasive process using an infrared thermometer to prevent cross contamination and help limit exposure for the screeners.

Individuals who have a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher or who are presenting with possible COVID-19 symptoms will be required to return home to monitor symptoms and/or seek medical attention prior to returning to campus.

Individuals who are cleared will be issued a card or sticker.
