Helen Tai

Representative Helen Tai was first elected in a 2018 special election. Previously, she served on the Solebury Township Board of Supervisors for 4.5 years. During her time, she regularly communicated with residents, and her constituents appreciated her transparency. Tai used this method to bring people together to address water pollution and governmental waste. Her experience extends beyond the public sector. 10 years ago she started a consulting firm, Enabling Innovation, LLC, that utilized proven business improvement methodologies to drive transformational innovation. Previously, she worked in Johnson and Johnson consumer products division, where she trained and coached senior management. In her spare time, she and her husband teach the martial art of aikido in New Hope. Tai’s platform addresses issues she believes prevent an equal society including: government reform, environment conservation, quality education, healthcare for all, equitable pay, budget, gun safety, sustainable development and traffic, and the opioid epidemic.
