Maria Donatucci

Representative Maria Donatucci was first elected to represent the 185th legislative district in a 2011 special election after her husband, Representative Robert Donatucci, passed away. During his career, Maria supported and assisted her husband in his community service work, served as a pro-bono community liaison, and represented him at meetings. Professionally, she worked at the Philadelphia Bureau of Administrative Adjudication for 13 years, and volunteered in her community. Maria has served as a board member for the American Swedish Historical Museum, the Lions Club, the Friends of Girard Park, and the Girard Farms Community Club. Since taking office, Maria has prioritized fighting crime and increasing public safety in Philadelphia and Delaware County. She also plans to work to pass tax relief for senior citizens and working families and will push to improve public schools throughout the commonwealth. Donatucci’s advocacy has led to increased job security in Philadelphia when she saved three Philadelphia oil refineries from closing.
