Rosemary Brown

Representative Rosemary Brown has represented the 189th Legislative District since 2010. As a longtime Pocono resident, Brown is focused on reducing or eliminating school property taxes and creating a fairer allocation of state education funds. She is serving her third term as deputy policy chair for the House Majority Policy Committee that travels around the state conducting meetings and gathering information on state issues from key stakeholders. In Harrisburg, Rosemary is committed to reducing the state budget and overall government spending through greater accountability and line-by-line reviews of each agency. She also supports making the government more transparent and efficient. Representative Brown advocates for a business-friendly, low-tax Pennsylvania that will attract businesses to the state, and generate family sustaining jobs. Her other passions include combatting issues related to Home Owner Associations, financial literacy education for the youth, and public health issues such as tick-borne illnesses, and the opioid crisis.
