Tina Pickett

Representative Tina Pickett was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 2000. During her tenure, she has served as chairman of the House Insurance Committee, and Gaming Oversight Committee and is a member of the Children’s Health Insurance Program, the House Consumer Affairs, Appropriations, Transportation, and Agricultural and Rural Affairs Committees. She has seen 11 of her bills become law. These laws have extended the Children’s Health Insurance Program, allows life insurance companies to send policies and annuities to customers electronically, if chosen by the consumer. She has also championed issues to help small businesses and expand economic development in Pennsylvania. In addition to her elected office, Pickett has held other public service positions, including serving on the Board of the Area Agency on Aging, the Northern Tier Regional Planning Commission, and the Endless Mountains Tourism Board.
