Wendy Ullman and her husband, Dan, have lived in the 143rd legislative district for 32 years. Her husband is a small business owner, and Ullman teaches at Bucks County and Montgomery County Community Colleges. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Teachers, and serves on the negotiating team. Her priorities support women and family, clean energy and conservation, and education. Specifically, she advocates for full reproductive rights, sustained funding for social programs such as SNAP, CHIP, and Medicaid, adopting Paid Family Medical Leave Coverage, and raising the minimum wage. For clean energy and conservation, she believes in increasing effective communication with the fracking and natural gas industry, incentivizing clean energy for all, and maintaining State Parks. She also cares about expanding funds for higher education, and universal pre-k education.
