Marcy Toepel

Before being elected to the represent the 147th District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Marcy Toepel worked in a number of private industry positions, before joining the staff of the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts in 1996. Eventually, Marcy was promoted to First Deputy, where she was responsible for the day to day administration of the office such as managing and processing filings related to criminal court proceedings. In 2006, Toepel was recognized as the Montgomery County Court House Employee of the Year for her dedication and commitment to her professional responsibilities. In 2008, she was hired as First Deputy to the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds, and was elected to the House in 2010. Her platform includes reforming property taxes, investing in education, combating the opioid crisis, ensuring casino revenue helps Montgomery County, strengthening the economy through private sector growth, fighting crime and protecting children, and preserving open spaces.
