Watch 2022 Commencement

Chatham hosted the Spring 2022 Commencement ceremony on Sunday, April 24 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. In addition to Class of 2022 graduates, graduates from the Classes of 2020 and 2021 who had their ceremonies disrupted by the pandemic also participated in the ceremony.

Lavender Graduation

The Lavender Graduation for LGBTQIA+ graduates took place on April 23 in the Welker Room of James Laughlin Music Hall. The celebration included speeches by Chatham community members, the opportunity to receive a special stole, a champagne toast, and an official welcome to the Chatham alumni community. This year's Lavender Graduation was open to Spring 2022 graduates, as well as any previous Chatham alumni who were not able to attend in-person ceremonies due to COVID-19.

Multicultural Graduation

The Multicultural Graduation for students of color and international graduates took place from on April 23 in the Welker Room of James Laughlin Music Hall. The celebration included speeches by Chatham community members, the opportunity to receive a special stole, a champagne toast, and an official welcome to the Chatham alumni community.
