Shadyside Campus

"As soon as I set foot on campus, I just knew it was for me." It's remarkable how often we hear this from students.

Unparalleled Campus

Our campus is so green and leafy, you'd never guess you were only: Four blocks to trendy Walnut Street's stores and restaurants; two miles to the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History: five miles to river kayaking and riverside trails; and six miles to PNC Park (Go Pirates!).

Redbrick academic buildings on Chatham University's Shadyside campus are framed by colorful budding trees and green grass.

Arboretum

Chatham's campus encompasses a 32-acre arboretum featuring 115 different varieties of species, including Japanese Flowering Crabapple, River Birch, and Kentucky Coffee tree. The Arboretum provides an outdoor classroom, as well as an inviting place to stroll and to meditate.
