Congratulations on your admission to Chatham University, and welcome to our Admitted Student Resource Guide. Here we’ve gathered content to guide your next steps and answer your questions as you prepare for a successful transition to Chatham University.

We’re excited to help you get ready for your time at Chatham, and encourage you to connect with the Undergraduate Admission Team anytime questions arise.


Deposit & Commit Today

If you haven't already, save your place in the class by submitting your deposit.

Shortly after your deposit has been submitted, you will be notified that an IT account and Chatham email address have been created for your use, enabling you to access my.Chatham, the University portal. Be sure to check your Chatham email regularly, as this is the primary method of communication by the University.


Complete Your FAFSA  

If you haven't already, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to get a jumpstart on financing your education. Chatham’s school code is 003244. Be sure to add us to your FAFSA list so that you can receive your need-based aid. We are here to help you! Please email the Office of Financial Aid  at Braun Hall on the Shadyside Campus or call 412-365-2781, or utilize our virtual calendar to schedule a 1:1 meeting as well.  


Register for New Student Registration Day

On New Student Registration Days, you can meet with faculty advisors and—if you've made your deposit—register for your class schedule. Sign-up for an upcoming event and then visit our New Student Registration (NSR) Support Site


Submit Your Housing Info

Following your academic deposit within 3 business days you should receive your Chatham account. You will also will receive an invitation via email to complete your housing questionnaire for Residential Life. You will be able to submit your housing deposit and housing questionnaire together utilizing our housing system StarREZ.


Get Your Student ID

Following your academic deposit, and once you have your Chatham account, you can also get your Student ID. Your ID will help you gain access to places around campus, including the fitness center and computer labs.

Attend A Registration Day

This year we are excited to offer both on campus and virtual New Student Registration Days!  Each day will include opportunities to get to know Chatham teams from Student Engagement, Career Development, Housing and academic advising. On Campus event dates will include campus tours of residence halls, a student activities fair, and many other opportunities.

Register for Orientation

Orientation is a great way to become acclimated to everything that the Chatham Community has to offer you. This program is designed to provide you with the tools to enhance your experience here and to connect with fellow classmates before school begins.
