Tutoring

Tutoring is free to all students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate-level courses. It usually occurs one-on-one, and students set the agenda by bringing specific questions or concerns to each appointment. While we offer peer tutors for many subjects and courses at Chatham, tutoring is never guaranteed. Students are encouraged to utilize our online tutoring service free of charge, which provides access to many more subjects.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a nontraditional form of tutoring that focuses on collaboration, group study, and live interaction to assist students in one specific course the entire semester. SI Leaders aim to create a collaborative learning environment through group discussions and interactive activities that reinforce concepts from class.
