Returning Student Move-In

RETURNING STUDENT ARRIVAL DATES & TIMES

The majority of returning students residing on campus will move-in on Saturday, August 26, 2023 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Students will check-in and receive their room key in the following locations:

Shadyside Lower Campus:

Chatham Apartments, Chung Apartments, Haber, and Hicks Estate Apartments - Pop-Up Tent located outside Chatham Apartments
Pelletreau Apartments & Linzer Apartments - Pop-Up Tent located outside Pelletreau Apartments

Shadyside Upper Campus:

Woodland Hall - Woodland Hall Sun Porch
Fickes Hall - Fickes Hall Main Lounge
Rea & Laughlin Houses - Outside Laughlin Patio


Eden Hall Campus:

Orchard Hall - 1st Floor Lobby
RETURNER STUDENT EARLY ARRIVAL GROUPS: Please note, there are a select number of students who will move-in early as part of an Early Arrival Group due to participation in a University sponsored group or activity (i.e., new in-season athlete, international student, or choir members).

Returning Student Early Arrival Groups are listed below:


Saturday, August 5th & Sunday, August 6th - Resident Assistant Move-in
You should arrange a move-in time and key pick-up time with your Graduate Resident Director (GRD) before you arrive to campus.
Any questions regarding your move-in should be directed to Angela Delfine-Mechler, Associate Director of Residence Life at A.DelfineMechler@Chatham.edu.

Sunday, August 13th | 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. – Orientation Leader and Chatham Activities Board (CAB) Move-in (Pick-up key at Carriage House). Any questions regarding your move-in should be directed to Emily Fidago, Director of Student Engagement at efidago@chatham.edu.

Thursday, August 17th | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Athletics Early Move-in: Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country Team Members (Pick-up key at the Carriage House). Please be in touch with your athletic coach for additional information about your arrival to campus.

Thursday, August 24th | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Chatham Choir Move-in (Pick-up key at Carriage House)
Any questions regarding your move-in should be directed to Stacey Brett Davern, Director of Choral Activities at s.davern@chatham.edu
Any student who is authorized for early arrival as one of the group members above will be notified by the Office of Residence Life and their program coordinator or coach.
