New Student Move-In

NEW STUDENT MOVE-IN DATE(S)

The majority of incoming new students (first-year and transfer) residing on campus will move-in on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. The exact time slot per building and floor are listed below in the section labeled MOVE-IN TIME SLOTS/SCHEDULE FOR AUGUST 23, 2023.

Please note, there are a select number of students who will move-in early as part of an Early Arrival Group due to participation in a University sponsored group or activity (i.e., new in-season athlete, international student, etc.).

Early Arrival Groups are listed below:

Thursday, August 17th | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Athletics Early Move-in: Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country Team Members (Pick-up key at the Carriage House). Please be in touch with your athletic coach for additional information about your arrival to campus.
Friday, August 18th & 19th – New Incoming International Students. Information about your move-in process will be communicated and coordinated by the Office of International Affairs. Any questions regarding international student move-in should be directed to Kate Emory at k.emory@chatham.edu

If you have a conflict with your arrival, please email the Office of Residence Life at reslife@chatham.edu to provide more details and inquire if a new date or time slot can be arranged. This email request must come directly from the student.

NOTE: Any student authorized for early arrival should follow the dates and times listed in the previous section and will also receive further information from the Office of Residence Life, their program coordinator, or coach.
