Piano Lumiere at Chatham University

Piano Lumière will be the first-ever two-piano candlelight performance in Pittsburgh, presented in the chapel at Chatham University. Pianists Jimmy Liu (founder of Presto Piano Studio LLC) and Kevin Lee Sun (Piano Professor at Duquesne University) will perform surrounded by thousands of candles, creating an intimate and memorable atmosphere.

The program includes virtuosic two-piano arrangements of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite and Vivaldi’s Winter, along with the world premiere of Carol of the Bells meets Interstellar—a new work for two pianos and pipe organ by Pittsburgh composer Eric Barndollar. The concert will also feature organist Alaine Fink and an opening performance by talented youth piano-violin duo Alex and Katie Ding.
