The RN to MSN Integrated Degree Educator Track allows the student to complete two graduate degrees in 44 credits. The BSN component prepares the registered nurse to improve person-centered care and leadership skills in the role of the generalist nurse. The MSN educator track provides the student with the graduate level knowledge and skills to become leaders and educators to nurses, nursing students, and other healthcare professionals as well as patients in clinical, academic, medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales, continuing education, and healthcare insurance settings. A total of 500 practice experience hours will be obtained through course work and an approved practice experience site, as well as an ePortfolio developed throughout the program to demonstrate program outcomes.
We evaluate applications on a rolling basis. Fall starts are available.
Chatham's RN-MSN requires 44 credits, but students must complete all undergraduate general education requirements as part of their degree.
Chatham's RN-MSN program has no application fee.

By combining both degrees, you can earn your BSN and MSN at a lower cost and in less time. Instead of the 59 credits required for both programs separately, complete both degrees with 44 credits by substituting BSN courses with MSN courses that meet the BSN program outcomes. A total of 500 practice experience hours will be obtained at approved practice experience sites.

Graduates of Chatham’s MSN program have held positions in clinical leadership, nursing education, and practice at organizations including The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Carlow University, UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing, UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside, Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
The cost of a graduate degree consists of university tuition (per credit charge), fees, and any other personal expenses you may require for earning your degree. Our Financial Aid and Admissions offices will also work with you to understand loan and financing options for which you may qualify.

The AfterCollege/AACN Scholarships support students who are seeking a baccalaureate, masters or doctoral degree in nursing. Eight $2,500 scholarships are awarded throughout the year. A limited number of nursing scholarships may be available. A FAFSA form must be completed and on file to be considered for the scholarship (school code: 003244).
