Congratulations on your acceptance to Chatham University! And welcome to our New Student Registration (NSR) Support Site. Here we’ve gathered content that will reinforce what you learn in NSR, plus answer questions you may have. We’re excited to help you get ready for your first term at Chatham, and look forward to meeting you soon!

Attend a Registration Day

This year we are excited to offer both on campus and virtual New Student Registration Days!  Each day will include opportunities to get to know Chatham teams from Student Engagement, Career Development, Housing and academic advising. On Campus event dates will include campus tours of residence halls, a student activities fair, and many other opportunities.

Meet with an Academic Advisor

Chatham's Academic Advising Office pairs you with professional staff to get you registered as a full time students (minimum of 12 credits). Our Academic Success Department and faculty will meet with you to discuss your schedule, course selection, and maintaining your academic timeline towards graduation.

Register for Classes

Our goal in the registration is to answer questions, ensure you have registered full time (minimum of 12 credits) and that you feel confident in knowing who to contact if you have questions. You will register for courses using Chatham's online student portal. The Student Portal is available to all new incoming students in a Deposit status and current Active students.

New & Transfer Orientation

Orientation is a great way to become acclimated to everything that the Chatham Community has to offer you. This program is designed to provide you with the tools to enhance your experience here and to connect with fellow classmates before school begins.

College is a time to learn, explore, and grow. At Chatham we believe that life outside of the classroom is just as educational and rewarding as time in it, and so we work to provide the opportunities, resources, and services that will achieve that.

Student Clubs & Organizations

Students at Chatham have a multitude of ways to get involved such as leadership retreats, service opportunities, late night and weekend events, campus traditions, joining one or more of the over 50 student organizations on campus, or taking advantage of events happening in the greater Pittsburgh area.
