In Chatham’s online Masters of Business Administration program—ranked in 2020 as a best Online MBA program by U.S. News and World Report—students develop the skills and knowledge identified by business leaders as vital in an increasingly competitive job market–skills like entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, effective communication, and leadership. Courses are delivered in an accelerated 7.5-week format, and students have the option to join the program in the fall or spring. For those who prefer an on-campus experience with a dedicated cohort, Chatham offers an on-campus MBA as well.
Fall recommended deadline: July 1
Spring recommended deadline: November 1
The MBA can be completed in two years as a full-time student. A part-time option is also available.
Cost consists of program tuition (cost per credit times number of credits) as well as any applicable University and degree-specific fees.

The MBA curriculum is designed for working adults, and all courses are available either online or on our Shadyside Campus.

Explore Degree Concentrations : Checkerboard 1 - Choose Your ConcentrationThrough Chatham’s online learning management system, Brightspace by D2L, students participate in interactive class activities and discussions held asynchronously online. The platform enables students to demonstrate knowledge gained through activities, as well as submit assignments and papers electronically. Throughout the course, grades and feedback from the instructor will be available through the online grade book. Instructors often hold virtual office hours in which questions from students can be addressed.

View Discount Program : Checkerboard 3 - Employer Discount ProgramQualified MBA students can save time and money by earning graduate credits through credit transfer, the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA), or test out of the college-level pre-requisites through College-Level Examination Program (CLEP). Intent to pursue PLA or CLEP must be declared prior to enrollment.

The Department of Business & Data Science teaches students the fundamentals of business practice through learning and applying academic content, practicing business skills, and evaluating the context of business decision-making. The Department integrates material and programming incorporating the University’s mission in global understanding and environmental responsibility and prepares students to work as leaders in professional and civic arenas. Through student-centered curricular and co-curricular offerings, the Department assists students to reach their full potential in the business world.
